![]() Can you see how from a consumer/professional/enterprise this may be more than just a little frustrating? ![]() I don't need Microsoft hand-holding me on Professional/Enterprise editions on what software they think I "need".Īlso, not all small businesses are big enough to require an AD Domain environment or pay for Enterprise editions, so I guess they get Candy Crush or whatever game app is currently paying Microsoft to show up on their consumers start menus.įrom your blog post " Each of those down-arrow icons will be replaced by an app from the store (some of which are actually installed from the store, some of which are just “shortcuts” that will trigger the installation if you launch them), after the user signs in for the first time." So, ticking time-bomb, you accidentally click on one of those third party bloatware/adware icons and it starts installing. If I need a productivity app I am perfectly capable of going into the app store or website and purchasing/downloading it myself. Okay, but how about you de-consumerize all editions of Windows 10? We're paying for this OS, it isn't freeware, so constant 'advertisements' (and pre-loaded bloatware) of both Microsoft and third-party apps is insane.
